Lost and alone, Annya and Arraya have lost all they know. Clutching the Horn of Endeavour, they run through the hills of Clarendon being chased by men they do not know, for reasons they do not understand.

The Story

It’s 1738, or a time quite like it, a time of myth, a time of magic, a time of mystery. Two young siblings go on a treacherous journey of loss and desperation, after their village of Endeavour has been destroyed. Everyone - their parents, friends, family have been killed. They carry with them the Horn of Endeavour that has been passed down in their family for generations. It is an abeng whose power is yet unknown to the two children but coveted by those who pursue them. 

Endeavour is built on the magic and resilience of the maroons with cultural infusions from Jamaica, Africa and South America.
